Cable & Wireless makes Roaming easy. Simple take your Handset with you when you travel and switch it on when you get to your destination.
When Roaming in some countries such as the US your handset may not automatically detect a GSM network. To enable Roaming in this instance you must manually select a Cable & Wireless Roaming partner's network. For details on selecting a network please refer to your handset manual or contact customer service 1-800-804-2884.
TDMA Manual Network Selection
The following instructions are generic and may not work on your specific handset. Please refer to your handset manual for instructions on Network Selection or contact our Customer Care Center at 1-800-804-2994 for information.
Nokia:
- Select Menu
- Scroll to System and select
- Scroll to Manual and select
- Phone will then search for all available TDMA Networks
- Once the phone has found all available TDMA Networks, simply scroll to the network you want to use and select.
GSM Manual Network Selection

- Scroll to Phone settings and select
- Scroll to System selection and select
- Scroll to Manual and select
- Phone will then search for all available GSM Networks
- Once the phone has found all available GSM Networks, simply scroll to the network you want to use and select.
