Registering Bills
Q. How do I register for e.Account service?
A. To register for e.Account, you can login to e.Account at "e.Account
URL" or call your C&W Account Representative. Your password
will be sent to you by:
a) Mail - you will receive your password through your billing address.
OR
b) Account Rep - your account rep will deliver your account information
to your office or you can visit your account rep at his/her office.
OR
c) e-mail - the password will be sent to your registered e-mail address.
Limited to email box provided by C&W Internet Services and under
the account number register in e.Account only.
Q. Can I use my Internet password to access e.Account?
A. Your Internet password is for access to your Internet account only.
We will provide you a different password to use e.Account. If you wish,
you can change the C&W e.Account password to the same thing as your
Internet password.
Activating & Viewing Bills
Q. After registration, when can I view my bills on e.Account web site?
A. Once you have obtained the assigned password, you can immediately
login to e.Account at "e.Account URL" and view your bills
online.
Q. How do I activate my e.Account account?
A. Visit e.Account web site at "e.Account URL". Enter User
ID you have selected during registration and your assigned password
to login. You are recommended to change your password online immediately
and periodically once your e.Account is activated.
Q. Can I activate other bills after my first login?
A. Yes, your C&W Account Rep can add or remove any accounts to
your user id
Q. How do I print my bills?
A. Simply use the 'print' function in your browser.
Q. Can I download the bills to my personal computer?
A. Yes, just click the 'Download' button of the corresponding bill
and follow the steps.
Q. How long will the bills be kept in the e.Account web site?
A. Bills of the last 12 months will be kept on file in the web site.
Existing Bill Statements
Q. Will my mailed bill statements stop after I activate them on the
e.Account web site?
A. No, you will continue to receive detailed bill statements after
you have activated e.Account service until and unless C&W decides
to withdraw these statements at its discretion. You will continue to
receive monthly summarized bill statements.
Q. Can I request a detailed bill statement after C&W has withdrawn
these statements, even if I have already registered for e.Account service?
A. You will receive summarized bill statements after you have registered
for e.Account service. Details are presented in your Online Bill. However
detailed statements can be provided at C&W's sole discretion.
Settling Bills
Q. Can I settle my bills with online payment?
A. Up till now you can only view the details of your bills online.
Online payment is currently under development and C&W will notify
you of any future enhancements. At this moment, please continue to make
your payments in the manner in which it has been done in the past.
Changing Customer Profile
Q. How can I change my password?
A. You can change your password online at "e.Account URL"
by clicking the "Change Password" function under "Customer
Profile" or call your C&W Account Rep.
Q. Can I change my User ID?
A. No, it is not possible to change your User ID once you have registered.
Q. What should I do if I forget my password?
A. Your C&W Account Rep can reset your password in case you forget
it.
Q. What should I do if I want to terminate my e.Account service?
A. Call your C&W Account Rep.
Technical Issues
Q. What computer equipment do I need to use e.Account?
A. A personal computer with Internet access and a browser are necessary.
For the computer specifications, refer to the specifications recommendation
for the Internet service. For customers with very large bills (>50
pages) consider getting dedicated Internet access. To obtain Internet
access, call your C&W Account Rep.
Q. What browsers support the e.Account service?
A. Netscape Communicator 4.08 or above, or Microsoft Internet Explorer
4.0 or above are necessary.
Q. What monitor display resolution should I use with the web site?
A. For best resolution, set the monitor display resolution to 800x600
pixels or higher. With lower resolutions, you'll experience a horizontal
scroll bar at the bottom of your browser.
Customer Service
Q. Can I use e.Account while traveling outside the country?
A. Yes, you can use the service anywhere as long as you have access
to the Internet.
Q. If I have queries about my bills, what should I do?
A. Call your C&W Account Rep. C&W has pledged dedicated resources
to resolve any queries that you have, expeditiously. In case of discrepancies
between your Bill Statement and Online Bill, the amount on your bill
statement should be followed.
