The Business ISDN service is terminated on a C&W-provided ISDN
Manager, which has sockets for two RJ45 connectors.
The service is designed for the European Standard Q.931, also known
as Euro ISDN or ETSI ISDN, and any equipment connected to the service
must also conform to this standard. Traditional analogue equipment can
be plugged into many ISDN devices (such as terminal adapters and PBXs),
reducing the cost of changing to ISDN. Note that some equipment features
can be used only when the sending and receiving ISDN equipment both
support it. For some features, the sending and receiving equipment must
be made by the same manufacturer. Please check the compatibility of
equipment with the manufacturer before you buy.
We provide one telephone number per Business ISDN connection. If you
need more, MSN provides up to seven more (a maximum of eight). We supply
DDI numbers in ranges of between 10 and 100 numbers, available in blocks
of ten. Your Cable & Wireless sales contact can give you more information
about Business ISDN.
